Unworn and in protective paper sleeve which has an open chip on top spine edge. Gold embossed lettering on the spine is very bright and as new. Inside, the front enpage has a rusty mark from a paperclip on top edge. Otherwise, interior is quite clean, free from owner marks. Page edges are rough cut. Book is clean, square, secure, binding excellent.

The book is well worn on edges and a bit of the cloth from the spine has been rubbed away. Rough condition but fascinating historical information on the state of agriculture in Vermont in early twentieth century.

 November 1928, Solitarian Press, Hartland Vermont. "Choice Poems" by Eugene M Davis, Bridgewater Vermont, A Native of Plymouth, Vermont. Book is more of a book let with string sewn binding. Coming apart at the seam with distinct water mark halfway up the cover and obvious throughout. Although no lasting curling or warping of the pages due to water. Cover is gray with gold lettering and a four leaf clover design. Despite it's poor state, the whole thing is quirky and attractive, especially the poems themselves which are presented with green accents of pine corns and little pictures.

He does go on to talk about world affairs, academics, and his personal experiences in Turkey, Russia, India and Japan. Book is in good condition, green cloth over boards with gold lettering.
