The pages are of a very thin, kind of precious paper. The book is made of red cloth over boards and has embossed illustrations of birds on both the front and the spine. Very little wear to the book itself. Dust jacket is more worn with small tears and chips along the edges - though the cover and frontispiece of Prince Rudolph's Bird of Paradise is striking!. This is basically an introduction to the study of Bird Psychology and it relates the ceremony, courtship, dances, greetings, display and reactions of our feathered friends. It has a unique perspective.. Illustrated throughout with photography and line drawings. Protective cover.
